It represented a lot of research and half the book was reference referrals. The acronyms abounded in heavy dose along with a myriad of names and companies, unheard of by me before this reading. The subject actually, is something I can relate to. I was a music major in college, and one of the pieces we had to listen to in Music History class was "Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima" by Krzysztof Penderecki. Every time we had to listen to it, I felt like I needed to take cover. This book goes in depth about that kind of thing, only it's not about Music History classes - it's about real life. It talks I received this book via the Goodreads First Reads program.

It talks about how music is, literally, used as a tool to control people. I would highly recommend this book. May 17, Christa Witfoth rated it really liked it. This book contains so much information from various studies and covers a broad range of topics nestled under the umbrella of using sound waves as a weapon or non lethal force.

It was really very interesting even though it was loaded with information.

It also touched on debunking some of the myths out there.
